The Discipleship program is a residential ministry designed to restore and redirect young men toward the purposes of God in their lives.

New Educational Focus

New Beginnings School is a school dedicated to

·         1. Building godly character

·         2. Shaping respectful behavior

·         3. Opening minds and spirits to learning and

·         4. Filling academic gaps

We have four goals for which we are striving. The first is to create a learning environment that will help a MINIMUM of 20 students for September 2010 reach mastery of the fourth grade literacy assessment tests. The passing certificate for this test is a requirement for sitting the grade six achievement test, which awards a high school seat. Presently the national average of passes is 67% and many schools are less than 50%.

The second goal is to bring the student to a higher level of functioning compatible with grade level, and ready the child to return to their home school within a maximum of two years.

Thirdly, New Beginnings hopes to instill personal discipline in each of the student’s work and study habits.

Lastly, New Beginnings will help the child overcome both emotional and spiritual obstacles that have impeded learning.

In addition, Summer Schools are held each year and are designed to be evangelistic, fun,  and academically rewarding, preparing the local children for the school year. These schools are staffed by volunteer teachers on mission teams.

Adult Education Center

This evening school will have three courses available. It will be mandatory for the young men in our coaching program, and available for our staff.  This educational centre will also be open to community adults 18 + who will be asked to pay tuition.

•       Academic Program 

This is a High School Equivalency course similar to GED in the States.  It is for those 18+ who have never completed a high school education.

•       Bible School

We plan to offer a 2 year Bible Course.  Each person who completes the course will receive an internationally accepted certificate.

•       Family Empowerment Institute

FEI is dedicated to equipping parents and caregivers to train their children in order to live healthy lives now and for generations to come!

FEI offers parent workshops, seminars, and instructional classes to parents.
